          General board meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chairman Jerry Schloss.  Present were Directors Mr. Schloss, Mr. Bettag and Mr. Meyer, and Chief Svetanics.  There were no Citizens from the District present.  Lloyd De Wald of Leo M. Ellebracht Company was present to witness bid openings.  

          The purpose of this meeting was to open and discuss bid proposals for a new pumper.

          Motion to accept agenda by Mr. Meyer, 2^nd by Mr. Bettag, roll call vote Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye.

          Chief Svetanics explained that we originally advertised that bids were to be opened on November 13^th during a general session.  Both bidding companies were notified that bids would be opened today.  Both bidders were in agreement with the earlier date.

          Bids for a new pumper were as follows:
