            General Board Meeting called to order at 8:20 a.m. by Acting Chair, Mr. Meyer.  Present were Directors Mr. Schloss, by telephone, Mr. Bettag and Mr. Meyer, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent.  Also present were auditors representing Hochschild, Bloom & Company, L.L.P., Robert Offerman and James Pursley.  There were no citizens of the district present.

 

            Pledge of Allegiance led by Chief Svetanics.

 

            Mr. Meyer stated there are no additions to the agenda.  Motion to accept the agenda by Mr. Bettag, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye. 

 

            Mr. Offerman and Mr. Pursley presented a proposal for professional auditing services witch contained references, an engagement plan, and a timeline and fee schedule.  Mr. Offerman and Mr. Pursley left meeting at 8:50 a.m.

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag to accept the proposal from Hochschild, Bloom & Company, dependent on satisfactory contract review by the district’s attorney, Matt Hoffman, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye. 

 

            Bills were reviewed and signed.

 

            Board discussed meeting with Montgomery Bank to decide on placement of tax revenue. 

 

            Board also discussed moving Lockbox funds from Midwest BankCentre to Operating Account at Montgomery Bank.

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag to transfer funds presently in the Pension Fund account at Montgomery Bank to Principal Financial, the investment amount to be less administrative expenses, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye. 

 

            Mr. Schloss left meeting by telephone at 9:08 a.m.

 

            Motion by Mr. Bettag to adjourn general meeting at 9:25 a.m., 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, and Mr. Meyer aye.
