          General board meeting called to order at 3:00 p.m. by Chairman Jerry Schloss.  Present were Directors Mr. Schloss, Mr. Bettag and Mr. Meyer, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent.  There were no Citizens from the District present. 

          The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and approve monthly expenses.  Checks were reviewed and signed.

          Conference call to Joe Schnieders of Schnieders’ Accounting made at 3:15 p.m.  Purpose of call was to discuss with Mr. Schnieders reported ambulance fees accrued in financial reports of June 2007.  Mr. Schloss relayed to Mr. Schnieders the conversation held with Becky Webb from the Missouri State Auditor’s office on tax rate ceilings.  Conference call with Mr. Schnieders ended at 3:35 p.m.

          The Board of Directors assessed three employee personnel files.

          Motion by Mr. Bettag to adjourn the general meeting at 4:15 p.m., 2^nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye.
