General board meeting called to order at 3:30 p.m. by President Mr. Bettag. Present were Directors Mr. Bettag, Mr. Meyer and Mr. Schloss, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. Captain Dan Bertelsmeier representing Local #2677, and Jack Abbott of Benefit Administrative Systems, LLC were present. Mr. Abbott was present to make a proposal to the District to use his company as a third party administrator for medical. There were no Citizens from the District present.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and approve monthly expenses and to review a proposal by Mr. Abbott.

Mr. Abbott stated that his company, BAS, represents about 30 small groups and 50 large groups as a third party administrator. BAS handles the medical for about 20 groups who are insured with Starmark. The costs would be $12.00 per employee plus a $1,200 set-up fee. Mr. Abbott and Captain Bertelsmeier left the meeting at 4:10 p.m.

Checks were reviewed and signed.

Motion by Mr. Bettag to adjourn the general meeting at 5:05 p.m., 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Meyer aye, Mr. Schloss aye.
