General Board Meeting called to order at 3:50 p.m. by President Mr. Bettag. Present were Directors Mr. Bettag, Mr. Schloss and Mr. Meyer, Chief Svetanics and Ms. Vincent. Also present were Mike Cummins from Sailor & Kahn, auditors for the District, and Joe Schnieders, the District accountant. There were no Citizens of the District present.
The purpose of this meeting was to approve the yearly auditor’s report to be presented to Claire McCaskill, State Auditor.
Mr. Cummins explained the new government requirements for all districts known as the Gatsby 34, which is a report generated by management of the districts, not written by the auditors as in the past. Our accountant, Joe Schnieders, wrote the Gatsby 34 report and also prepared a report on the depreciation of fixed assets, both of which gets attached to the audit report sent to the State Auditor’s office.
Motion by Mr. Schloss to approve the auditor’s draft copy as presented, 2nd by Mr. Meyer, roll call vote Mr. Bettag aye, Mr. Schloss aye, Mr. Meyer aye.
